Fine Art – BLiP Photo
Inspired by my curiosity and endless pursuit of travel, the motives behind BLiP Photo are simple, but powerful:
- B – BELIEVE in yourself
- L – LOVE what you do
- i – IMAGINE anything is possible (the “i” is lower case as a reminder to always THINK BIG)
- P – PERSEVERE … NEVER give up!
I am a storyteller at heart, and in my life’s journey there are times where I’ve captured images to illustrate these adventures. As a journalist, I pay attention to the details. As the son of an artist, I also love to create. So while I am a word person, my eyes are always open. These images are just some of what I have seen. There are two lines of art: Patterns in Nature and Panoramas. While all original photos are my own, I partner with some highly skilled professional printers here in Chicago. This is what they have to say about each print:
DETAILS: Patterns in Nature
In my travels, I am drawn to the unique colors and patterns in nature. These images are some of my best finds, from the colorful walls of Hamersley Gorge in Western Australia to grains of salt from the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea. Each of these unique images is unaltered, designed by Mother Nature. And they are available on museum-grade, acid-free fine art paper in the following formats (with pricing):
- 8 x 10 fine art paper, framed or unframed ($35)
- 11 x 14 fine art paper, framed or unframed ($75)
- 30 x 40 fine art paper, framed or unframed ($550)
- NEW! A set of 11 pattern perfect pics, as 5 x 7-inch note cards! ($27.50 for box of 11)
DETAILS: Panoramas etc.
I can’t explain why, but I love the panorama. My printer does not, as it’s a non-standard shape. It makes everything just a little bit harder. I only have a few, but if you have the right spot, they will make a statement. These are one size only, usually 40 x 16 or 36 x 11, on canvas. I also have a handful of one-offs, in 20 x 24 or 16 x 20 formats. There’s even one triptych – a crashing wave as seen from above in a spectacular, mystical place called The Gap, near Albany, Western Australia. Each image includes a story, detailing the location and circumstances behind the shot.
- 40 x 16 (framed $650; unframed $350; canvas only $125)
- 36 x 11 (framed $500; unframed $250; canvas only $125)
